LIVER PROTECT-S is a high-potency liquid nutritional supplement developed for administration through drinking water to support liver, kidney and heart function during stressful or metabolically demanding periods. Its formulation combines propylene glycol, sorbitol, milk thistle extract rich in silymarin, L-carnitine, choline chloride, betaine HCl, vitamin B1, niacinamide, calcium pantothenate, vitamin B12 and artichoke extract containing cynarin. This targeted blend is designed to help animals manage metabolic disturbances that may occur during critical production phases, when the utilisation of dietary energy and protein can become less efficient. LIVER PROTECT-S is particularly focused on supporting hepatic activity, helping improve bile production, the digestion of saturated fats and the overall management of nutrients involved in energy metabolism.
Supporting Fat Metabolism and Reducing Liver Accumulation
Fatty acids are partly metabolised in the liver to form triglycerides, which may accumulate inside hepatocytes when the balance between their uptake, synthesis, oxidation and export is disrupted. The active nutrients contained in LIVER PROTECT-S work together to support a more efficient use of fats and reduce the risk of excessive lipid accumulation in the liver. Choline, betaine and L-carnitine contribute to important metabolic pathways involved in fat transport and energy utilisation, while milk thistle and artichoke extracts provide targeted botanical support for hepatic function. Sorbitol and the vitamin complex further contribute to normal digestive and metabolic processes, helping animals maintain better condition and performance during periods of nutritional stress. The recommended dosage is 0.5–1 litre per 1,000 litres of drinking water for poultry for five to seven days, 75–100 ml per 100–150 kg of body weight for cattle, and 25 ml per 10 kg of body weight for sheep, goats and calves for ten days.
